And when you are sick...

all you eat is soup. I have a cold today, and my appetite is not great, but on this diet you are required to eat anyway so your metabolism does not slow.

So I've been sticking with the plan, I just have to save my workout for tomorrow...maybe. The workout for this plan is pretty light compared to what I am used to, but I think it is because you are eating so little food they don't want you to pass out. :-D

Diet update

Started the diet on Monday and am very happy to report that I have lost 1.5 lbs! I am even, at this time... "retaining water".

Monday starting weight - 138.5
Friday weight - 137.0

I guess it is working! I have not seen the scale move for months. In August 2006, I was 147 and steadily gaining more and more. Since then, I've been exercising like crazy and dropping some weight, but I had not altered my eating habits except to eliminate soda and try to eat "healthier". I was really becoming more fit, that is for sure, but I've developed a stocky, muscular body and am now aiming for a leaner body.

Goals this week: - Lose 3 lbs.
Reward - nice new purse!
